For more than two decades, ALMA and CURA have shared a common goal: delivering safe, reliable and high-quality medical devices through advanced blister packaging technologies.
What began in the early 2000s with the supply of the first blister machines has grown into a solid, long-standing partnership built on trust, technological exchange, and a shared commitment to innovation.
Today, this collaboration takes an important step forward with the installation of four new blister packing machines designed for the packaging of hospital-use orthodontic teats - a product requiring high precision, delicate handling, and continuous production reliability.
A Packaging Solution for high-performance Medical Product
CURA’s orthodontic teats, made from advanced TPE (thermoplastic elastomers), are widely used in hospitals around the world.
These materials offer the elasticity and softness of rubber, the durability and resilience of plastics, excellent tear-strength and shape-retention while guaranteeing safety and comfort for newborns, including premature babies.
The unique geometry and flexibility of these hospital-use teats demand a blister packaging solution capable of managing delicate shapes without deformation - while ensuring sterility, speed, and repeatability.
Our new blister packing machine has been engineered precisely for this challenge.

The final configuration of the machine delivered to CURA operates with:
- fully automated product loading
- up to 2,800 blisters per hour
- optimized forming for uniquely shaped teats
- operator-free production, 7 days a week
- high efficiency and stable throughput
